Olayiwola is a well rounded human resource professional with expertise across broad functional areas, including HR strategy, HR process simplification and technology optimization, performance measurement, industrial relations, international staffing and mobility, OD, and OE, among other competencies.

In his role as General Manager, Group Human Resources, in one of the leading oil and gas exploration and production companies, his core focus was on delivering value to the business through the following key perspectives:

• Led the development and implementation of top quartile HR and people strategy, policies, systems, processes, and procedures aimed at facilitating the attraction, deployment, development, and retention of critical talent in the exploration and production business.

• Advised management and leaders across the entities on appropriate strategies for managing transformation and business improvement.

• Led the HR function’s interface with industry stakeholders, including unions, NUIMS, NUPRC, HOSTCOM, and others.

Olayiwola is a certified Balanced Scorecard Professional and has a Master’s degree in Industrial Relations, as well as other HR professional certifications.
